This is one of my fave Whitney Songs. I love her so much this era. This era was so underrated. This song always makes me happy. A true slay worthy song & vocal performance.

This song makes me cry my eyes out. Her voice is so RICH! OMG. It’s like epicly beautiful. It’s like heaven, like for 4 minutes God gave her the voice of heaven & light, seriously. & the music video of it, really brings out the emotion & makes it so much more amazing & beautiful. I love how Christina still has an amazing voice in this way, with age, & with the change of her voice that comes with age. Seriously watching this movie made me wanna go out & live my dreams & made me feel like I could do anything I ever wanted to. Christina is the true queen of ballads, she really knows how to sell a ballad. Her voice is golden. Burlesque Soundtrack is amazing, the movie is really good too.

When I 1st heard this, I hated it. I’m like NO, CHRISTINA & THE GARGLY Grunted vocals, but I watched it again & I love the overall performance. All she needs to do is when she tours (this year or next year), she needs to bring that high note she used to effortlessly hit. I also loved the group effort. I also love when she whoo’s those high notes @ 2:19 (that’s pure passion).
I’m just gone put it out there. Christina is “The Voice.” Who can sing raw with practically no vocal lessons, & still have a voice after 10+ (professional) years? She’s been singing all her life, & STILL has a substantial voice. Her voice is rich, suttle, beautiful, soulful, & extremely versatile. She has to be one of the most versatile vocalist I’ve heard in my life w/ a little original twist she adds to certain songs.
I just saw a gif from this video & it made me think about how much I love Kelly Rowland & how underrated she is. She is a extraordinary beauty, both inside & out. I mean she just glistens in beauty. She is a magnificent vocalist, she has grown leaps & bounds since her DC days, not to say she didn’t have her good moments in the group. She is a great dancer (hence the video for this, “Lose My Breath”, “Motivation”, “Lay It On Me”, etc.). & she has some stellar songs (this one, & just about everything she’s recorded). She can do quality R&B, & quality dance. She’s one to look out for. She’s a hard worker & an excellent performer.
Anyway, when I heard this song just a minute ago, this signify’s exactly how I feel today.

I usually don’t do fashion post because even thou I’m into fashion, my fashion is my fashion, & what i like is what I like, & what I like, is what I prefer to keep to myself. Also, I’m not the type to read fashion magazines, or search hours online about fashion, or be inspired particularly by anything. I just shop. I go shopping, I find stuff I like (that fits me, or the feeling I’m in), I buy it, I wear it. It’s as simple as that. In addition, I particularly don’t do fashion post because nowadays a lot of artist get passes with fashion when they don’t have any talent, & I’m not up for that. So, I keep fashion stuff to a rare minimum…
However, I was inspired to do this post….
Looking @ Monica throughout the years, more specifically for the last 3-5 years, I have to say Monica is the underrated, overlooked, undisputed Queen/icon of fashion. I almost died on a blog when I read a comment when somebody said they’re always on the fence with Monica on fashion. Girl really…? But, let’s not. Monica STAYS looking on point, she usually does not fail me fashion wise & I figured I’d give a little mini tribute to some of my favorite looks of hers.
